Wilton Manors as the #2 highest concentration and Oakland Park comes in at #10! We are thrilled that people are becoming comfortable enough to be counted nationally! Our area has one of the most diverse mix of gay and lesbian and transgender communities...and they seem to get along...GO FIGURE!

We also boast more than 50 gay & gay friendly restaurants (with several more ready to open!) and more than 30 gay and lesbian nightclubs and bars! Just minutes from Wilton Drive are the "gay" beaches. Sebastian Beach and parts of North Fort Lauderdale Beach are the most popular as is Haulover Beach (for the naturist) just north of Miami. For one of the BEST Happy Hours in the area we love Georgie's Alibi. They have a great outdoor restaurant, and the legendary Long Island Iced Tea night on Thursday at 9pm. But don't miss the Mon-Fri happy hour 11am-9pm with two-4-one drinks! They always have a large and friendly crowd!

For one of the most unique marketplace/gift shops anywhere...Stop in at To The Moon Marketplace centrally located on Wilton Drive. They have a wide range of candies, gifts and novelties from not only today but from our childhood as well. It's a fun and wonderful place to shop!
