Let's Get REAL Estate

Hi all!

For those who are looking to hire a Realtor (either buying or selling...but in this case, mostly for selling your home)...CHECK THEM OUT! Here are a few ideas...

    1) Always interview 2 or 3 (hopefully us!) to see who you are most comfortable with,

    2) Ask if you can talk to a past client or two and,

    3) Call them from different phone numbers 2-3 times to see if they answer the phone or call back immediately.

Number three is a BIGGIE! Why? If they don't answer the phone, how are they going to sell your home? We just tried to set up a tour for a customer of 12 homes. Of those 12 we were only able to reach 3 on the first attempt. Of the remainder, 2 of them still have not gotten back to us...8 hours later. Now I wish we could say this is an isolated event...but it's not! This is common. If their customer only knew! When wondering why your home isn't selling...this can be one reason.

Don't be afraid to test your Realtor (within reason...lol). They should never be offended when a potential client tries to determine the best person to sell you home!
